Hi!

In October, I opened an academy called Sapere Aude Study Center. It's in Segovia, Spain.

One of my students is playing "Sweaters by hedgehog" and he loves it. For this reason, I have decided to put on his creation in the blog's academy. It will be done by other students at the academy. So, I would like to ask you if it's possible that we put your name in our academy blog. It would be a honour that we can do it.

Thank you in advance

Wow that's so cool, would love that! Is there an email I can email you at?

Yes!

ce.sapereaude@gmail.com  it´s the academy´s email.

Weee, this is such a cute premise. I shall have to crack out my journalling & art supplies 😍

This was a lot of fun. Sometimes I'm in the mood to doodle, but art-block strikes. This is the perfect game for those moments.

Sweaters by Hedgehog is such a sweet and heart warming time spent as a little hedgehog putting together sweaters for the various townsfolk who may need them. This game is a breath of fresh air, no combat and no heated encounters, just sweaters and conversations. If you need something sweet and comfortable, this game is the perfect companion for you. Highly recommend, best enjoyed in a comfortable sweater of your own with a mug of something warm. The kind of game I'd share with my nieces and nephews just to see how they'd enjoy the world with me and the creativity they would bring into the space.

My 5 y.o. daughter and I love this game :) I altered it slightly to play with dice (4d12!) instead of cards. You have to eliminate one choice out of each category, and there is the possibility of repeat rolls, but we like rolling the dice more than drawing a card. Haven't figured out a perfect system for incorporating the "Joker" bonuses with dice yet, but it shouldn't be too hard. Anyway, thanks for the game, I love its simplicity, and its great for exercising a little imagination here and there!

Edited to add: I just realized this sounds like the person on a recipe website who says "I love this recipe, I just made all these alterations" haha. I think the game is great as is, cards and all, it's just that dice are fun :D

(+3)

Oooh yeah, I was actually playing around with dice at first before settling on the card format. One possibility for joker - maybe adding another die and only couting if that also comes up the highest number on it. Glad you're enjoying it!

Hello again, some time ago I translated the game for the spanish-speaking community, and the truth is that it is having a very good reception, so much so that there are people asking if it would be possible to create hacks of the game, would there be any problem in this regard? Thanks in advance!

(+2)

Sure! Hacks are okay - just as long as they credit the original. Would really love to see them.

Absolutely beautiful game, my mum passed last year and imagining her as this little hedgehog running a shop is really helping to keep her active in my mind, so thank you! My only note is that the spades and clubs symbols on the suit explanation pages are mixed up on the English version

(+1)

What a beautiful comment, thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying it. And good catch on the suit explanation - amazed nobody caught that yet. Will update on the new version (coming soon!)

(+1)

Any recommendations for card deck apps that could be used instead of the physical deck?

(+1)

The random.org one works well since you can select just one suit at a time. Writing the game I kept 4 tabs open with one in each https://www.random.org/playing-cards/

(1 edit) (+5)

I recommend writing a “What you need” section as it wasn’t immediately obvious to me until I read it: 1 player, pack of cards with Jokers, a coin, pen and paper (or recorder for audio logs). Thanks for creating this, I’m looking to try it!

(+1)

Really cute and cozy! ❤❤❤

(+3)

Hey I translated it in french, does it interrest you?

(+1)

Ooh, yes please!

Google broke all of the page settings, though

Thanks!

This is my first solo journaling game. I absolutely love it. It's so heartwarming and cozy. The prompts and questions are sweet, take the story in unexpected directions. Thank you for making this.

(+1)

Sweaters by Hedgehog is a solo journaling game about a hedgehog selling sweaters. It is just so cute and adorable, and includes lots of interesting questions and prompts for you to tell the story.

(+1)

My first solo/journaling game, and I really like it!  It's just enough direction to get you started, and just enough of a prompt to make it interesting.  What a wonderful world!

(+1)

Very cute, brought a smile to my face instantly! Thank you!

(+2)

Sorry I am new to journaling games, I don't really understand what you have to do: you have to write for every customer what happened following the cards, you have to draw the clothing ?

(+1)

Yeah, the idea is to use the 4 cards drawn to prompt a little story about one customer. What type of animal they are, some quirk about them, and what they are looking for. Some players have just done writing, there's a couple that have done drawings of the customers/sweaters like this one: https://twitter.com/KadenRamstack/status/1456677293225660422

Okay thank you so much it looks so cool

Hello! I'm having a great time playing this fantastic and cozy game! The mechanic is simple and the outcome is awesome.

I'm interested in translating this one to Korean and quite sure that my friends would just love this one.

If it is allowed, I'd love to send you the Korean version of this small lovely RPG with a short replay.

(1 edit) (+1)

Sure! Would be great!

Here it goes! "고슴도치의 스웨터" with replay(s)"replays"

I'm interested in translate this game to spanish, just to ensure this is playable in the spanish-speaking world. If I get your permission I'll send a PDF for you to distribute (if you want), in any way you like.

Absolutamente! Go for it. Thank you!
